An established Mechanical Components manufacturer is seeking a Mechanical Inspector for their El Monte, Ca facility on a 1st shift. 6:00am - 4:30pm, Monday thru Thurs 10 hour shifts. To be qualified for this position, candidates must have at least 3-4 years experience in a precision mechanical Inspection environment, preferably aerospace. - Experience in evaluation and verification of high reliability hardware. - Experience with GDT (geometric dimensioning and tolerancing) - Experience accepting/rejecting criteria in hardware. - Must be able to read blueprints. - Must have experience with Military Specifications blueprint reading - A hand full of inspection hand tools. - CMM inspection experience is a plus On a day to day basis, this Mechanical Inspector will inspect various types of mechanical hardware to inspection plans, provided prints and furnished specification documents. This candidate will generate appropriate inspection documentation reflecting the acceptance or rejection of the hardware. This candidate will also accept/reject criteria for new processes.
