IT / Software / Systems: GRAPHIC DESIGNER - NEEDED ASAP IN SUN VALLEY!!!! - Sun Valley, California

Immediate need for a Graphic Designer in Sun Valley to support the Marketing and Sales team. Enjoy working in a quick and entrepreneurial environment and provide turnarounds and a wide variety of projects which they?ll be expected to execute under little supervision. Communicate artwork needs, status, and approvals with vendors, customers, and internal staff. Follow art projects through to completion including vendor orders, delivery, and invoice processing. Prepare artwork production files packaging die-lines Prepare artwork for printed packaging Take an active role as project manager in getting packaging projects completed (through our internal steps as well as timely completion with customers and agencies) Obtain or generate artwork proofs in the correct die-lines, with the appropriate number of colors, and ensuring detail does not exceed capability of printers or increase packaging cost Review proofs for accuracy and compliance with legal labeling requirements, and brand standards. Forward or transmit final approved artwork in the proper format to the specified printer or plate maker. Maintain and issue TOPS pallet patterns Maintain physical and electronic artwork files Create and maintain Artwork Status Report Assist and provide backup to other graphic design personnel where required (particularly with corrugate and packaging design) Creative projects to include: Sell sheet (POS) Bring a ?designer?s eye? to the project to ensure the piece looks professional, modern and in the right tone for the audience & product Design use existing customer logos and existing image assets but also customizing with Photoshop (or other programs) Layout copy (provided by Marketing) paying attention to message hierarchy and eye flow Build item code tables (and proofread ensuring 100% accuracy) Be detail oriented (i.e. spell checking, sentence structure, image sharpness, etc.) Ideate (with Marketing) custom print materials Examples of this includes developing custom pamphlets, mailers, counter top signage, printed placemats, posters, etc. where no die-lines are provided This also includes designing custom kits (cartons, boxes, mailers) Developing 3D renderings Renderings are often used in sales presentations to customers to illustrate concepts of products not yet produced. Types of rending?s include: sweetener packets, sweetener caddies, countertop displays, box kits, retail displays, club store pallet displays Develop trade show booth signage This ranges from large floor-stand banners and table-top banners to easel backed signage Concept and develop print ads for distributor publications (magazines) Create email blasts (customers and internally) Resize images to be used in digital newsletters Skills to be successful: Work with a sense of urgency Strong communicator and ability to prioritize projects under little supervision Build strong, positive working relationships with outside vendors Strong organization skills For immediate consideration please send your resume as Word doc and place a follow up call to Vivian We are an equal employment opportunity employer and will consider all qualified candidates without regard to disability or protected veteran status.
