Home Instead Senior Care is looking for a caring and compassionate CAREGiver experienced with American Sign Language. Home Instead Senior Care provides a variety of non-medical services that allow adults and seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion. Duties include, but are not limited to: Companionship and conversation using American Sign Language Assistance attending classes at Day Center Activities of daily living such as bathing and dressing Incontinence care Mobility assistance Home helper Required experience: American Sign Language - moderate proficiency Preferred experience: CNA, LVN, MA, DSP or minimum one year CAREGiving experience Requirements to be a CAREGiver: Be professional, compassionate, and patient Ability to treat and care for disabled individuals and their property with dignity and respect Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner Complete a criminal background check, DMV check and drug screen Possess a valid driver's license and valid auto insurance, must be able to drive Day and evening shifts available, 7 days per week.
