- Associates degree required - ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support -required - BCLS Card - PALS Card - Respiratory Care Practitioner License - 1-2 years experience is required The Adult/Pediatric Respiratory Care Practitioner is an individual who is professionally skilled in the application of respiratory care services and must have the ability to work well with minimum supervision. This person focuses on providing care for the adult, geriatric, and non-critical pediatric patients. Abilities to meet the specific needs of these age groups may be gained through previous education, experience and/or additional education and training. Education: Must be a graduate of an approved Respiratory Therapy Program. License: Must possess a current California Respiratory Care Practitioner license. Current BCLS issued by AHA. Good organizational skills and Flexibility. ()
