Admitting Representative - ER ? Schedule in/out patients for appointments to various clinics ? Verify demographics and insurances for Medicare and PPOs including co-pay information ? Utilize knowledge of ICD-9, CPT Codes and medical terminology ? File medical record charts ? Update patient information ? Verify authorization and ABN codes/input into PCX system and IDX system ? Register patients into various clinics ? Verify Insurances, HMO, PPO?s, co-Pays ? Process insurance forms, update patient demographics and called patients for appointments ? Use AS400 and PCX system for filing medical record chart. ?
